📚 The sound of the first school bell. Fresh notebooks. Big dreams. ✨
And just like that – September 1 is here. 🇦🇲
🎒For some, it is the very first step into a classroom. 🧸
For others, it is the beginning of another year filled with challenges, friendships, discoveries and unforgettable moments.
📖 But every September starts with the same thing: a blank page.
A page waiting to be filled with new knowledge, new ideas and new possibilities. 💡
🌍✨Because education is not only about what we learn in school. It is about learning to ask questions, think freely, discover our strengths and imagine the world we want to create.
Today, classrooms across Armenia come alive once again.
The future begins there – one lesson, one idea and one dream at a time. 🇦🇲
📚 Happy Knowledge and Schooling Day!

🌊 Lake Sevan – where legends meet the sky.
🏔️There is something timeless about Sevan. Surrounded by mountains and stretching beneath the vast Armenian skies, its blue waters have been part of the country’s landscape, stories and memories for generations.
An old Armenian legend tells of a spring whose waters were left running, eventually flooding an entire valley and creating the lake we know today. Whether legend or memory, the story feels fitting for a place as mysterious and powerful as Sevan.
💙On the last Sunday of August, we celebrate Sevan Day – an occasion to honor the beauty of Armenia’s “blue pearl”, a natural and cultural treasure that has inspired generations.
When the fields turn gold, it’s time to harvest.
Across Armenia, the wheat fields become a sea of golden ears under the summer sun. For generations, this has been a time of hard work, shared traditions, and gratitude for the land.
🚜 In the past, wheat was harvested by hand with sickles, gathered into bundles, and threshed and winnowed using traditional methods. Today, modern machinery has transformed the process, but the spirit of the harvest remains unchanged: giving thanks for the land and honoring the generations of hands that have cultivated it.
🌾 The grain is then turned into flour and, through cherished traditions, becomes bread.
🇦🇲 Every grain tells a story – of the land, the hands that sowed it, the seasons that shaped it, and the generations that carried the harvest forward. In Armenia, the golden harvest is more than a season; it is a timeless bond between people and the soil that sustains them.
🎶 Armenia is more than a place you see – it’s a place you hear.
🌆 The sound of footsteps on Yerevan’s streets, conversations drifting from cozy cafés, the rhythm of everyday life, the warmth of Armenian traditions, and the energy of a city where the old and the new meet.
From bustling streets to quiet corners, every sound tells a story.

☄️The Perseids are lighting up Armenia’s summer sky!
🌌One of the year’s most spectacular meteor showers is filling the night with streaks of light as Earth passes through the trail of dust and debris left behind by Comet Swift–Tuttle.
✨From Armenia’s mountains and countryside to its city skies, the Perseids offer a magical reminder to simply look up and enjoy the wonders above us.
🫓In Armenia, baking lavash is more than preparing bread – it’s a cherished ritual that brings families and communities together.
🔥Made with just a few simple ingredients, the dough is carefully stretched by hand and baked in the walls of a traditional tonir, creating the thin, soft bread that has been part of Armenian life for centuries.
🌍In 2014, the traditional preparation, meaning, and appearance of Armenian lavash was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, recognizing it as a living tradition passed down from generation to generation.
🧀Whether wrapped around cheese and herbs, served alongside a festive meal, or shared with guests, lavash remains a symbol of Armenian hospitality, resilience, and cultural identity.
🕊️Gagik Ginosyan devoted his life to preserving and celebrating Armenia’s rich cultural heritage through traditional dance.
🇦🇲He inspired generations to rediscover the beauty of Armenian folk traditions, bringing centuries-old dances to communities across Armenia and beyond.
✨His legacy lives on wherever Armenian dance continues to unite generations and keep tradition alive.

🧑🎨Today, we honor the birth anniversary of Hovhannes (Ivan) Aivazovsky, one of history’s most celebrated artists whose paintings continue to captivate audiences around the world.
🌊 With an extraordinary command of light, color, and movement, Aivazovsky transformed the sea into a living story. From tranquil horizons to towering waves, each canvas invites viewers to experience nature’s beauty, power, and emotion.
🎨 Born in Feodosia to an Armenian family, he created more than 6,000 works during his lifetime, leaving behind a timeless artistic legacy that continues to inspire generations.
✨ His paintings are more than masterpieces, they are journeys across light, water, and imagination.
✨On July 21, thousands gathered at Cascade as the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra closed its 20th anniversary season with a spectacular free open-air concert in the heart of Yerevan.
🎻From Khachaturian, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, and Aznavour to symphonic performances of System of a Down, Led Zeppelin, and Michael Jackson, the evening celebrated music across generations.
🎼The audience also enjoyed powerful orchestral arrangements of beloved Armenian melodies, including Kochari and Yarkhushta, transforming one of Yerevan’s most iconic landmarks into the stage for an unforgettable summer night.
