Siglo S**o
This wine is the result of blending vineyards from the Rioja Alta and Rioja del Reyno
areas. The vineyards of Haro are of the Tempranillo variety, planted in goblet, with
more than 50 years of age on whitish, poor soils and clay-limestone composition, most
of them are oriented to the sun and its altitude ranges around 750 meters.
WINEMAKING
The grapes are harvested early in the morning by hand in 20 kg boxes by selected and
qualified winery personnel. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and aging
takes place in French and American oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine is refined in
the bottle before leaving the winery.
Ageing / Crianza 12 months in French and American oak barrels plus 6 months of
aging in bottle.
