Dear Community,

Last week, one of our Parallel Program outings took us to the beautiful McLaren Vale.

We started our day with a relaxing coffee stop before visiting the iconic Cube at d’Arenberg Winery, where our clients had the opportunity to explore and enjoy something a little different.

We then continued our journey to Willunga, where we enjoyed a lovely lunch together at the Willunga Hotel.

The weather may not have been perfect, but it certainly didn’t stop us from laughing, connecting, exploring new places and, most importantly, enjoying each other’s company.

What better way to spend a day than together, creating new memories with our wonderful elderly community.

We are back! And we are not letting this weather stop us from staying positive and spreading a little happiness around. 😊

Today we want to share with you a special moment captured during the professional photo shoot of our Day Care Programs back in June.

The photo gave us the perfect opportunity to celebrate one of our wonderful volunteers, Enrica, who also celebrated her birthday in June! 🎂

Enrica is always there looking after our beloved elderly clients with passion, dedication and, most importantly, her beautiful big smile.

Thank you, Enrica, for the time, care and energy you dedicate to CIC.
We truly appreciate everything you do and we hope to celebrate many more birthdays together in the years to come!

This time, our participants enjoyed a lovely Glenelg Scenic Drive, with our usual coffee stop along the way and a delicious lunch at The Local Greek Restaurant.

Lots of fun, good food, beautiful views and, most importantly, plenty of smiles and great company!

Another wonderful day spent together, making special memories at CIC.

• Saturdays, alternating between outings and in-house programs

Our Day Care Programs are at the heart of CIC.
They are not only about activities and outings, but about bringing people together, sharing time, creating friendships and helping our participants stay connected with the community, and their culture

We want to finish this evening by sharing some lovely memories from our special outing on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, travelling from Victor Harbor to Middleton!

Our day started with a stop for coffee with Claudia Callisto, artist and author of several books about her life as “Good Italian Girl”, sharing memories and experiences from her past.

We then continued our journey through Middleton, stopping along the way to see the surf and whale-watching lookout areas and admire the beautiful coastal scenery.

And of course, no CIC outing is complete without a nice lunch! Our final stop was at the Corio Hotel located in Goowla, where we enjoyed a lovely meal together.

It was certainly a different and interesting day, full of beautiful places, stories, good company and wonderful views.
