I’ve wanted to do this concept for a while, a woman near the banksia tree, I get so captivated by them when I see them
Clearly I love banksia and I’m assuming I will continue painting them

Before the year ended we wanted to offer some paintings!
Although we have been so slow and absent from our creativity, we are excited to share these two small paintings with you!
Combining the natural fibres like paperbark with our art is one of a blessing to feel proud and grateful for our culture and people who have gone before us!

5 years ago we were camping
We went out west a bit and brought this canvas to continue its story. It felt that deadly to be painting on the dirt like that, like mob would out in the communities.
It’s such a precious part of this paintings unfolding
