Some photos taken over the weekend.

Last Friday we had an opportunity to pay tribute to one of “OURS” Paul Atkins who sadly passed away in July.

We had a minute’s silence for Paul, all players and officials either wore wristbands or armbands with the No.32 on them. All jumpers had the “32” on them with a football and an axe going through the number.

The greatest tribute was Paul’s nephew Flynn donning the Tasmanian jumper (No.32) after halftime time and kicking 2 goals and playing with father Simon who also chimed in with 1 goal.

The No.32 will now be retired.

What a great moment for a father and son.

Our 2nd recipient and JOINT WINNER of the inaugural "HUDSON MEDAL" is former Lauderdale Junior, Adelaide Crows (AFL) North Melbourne (AFL) and Gold Coast Suns player HUGH GREENWOOD.

2026 was Hugh's debut game and he fitted in like he has played forever. We look forward to Hugh joining us in 2027 for version 14 of "RELIVE THE RIVALRY".

Really pleased to announce that we have a “NEW” Medal for our BEST PLAYER.

We are pleased to announce that the Medal is now known as the “HUDSON MEDAL” as a thankyou to the overall contribution of their family to our game.

Peter was a Tasmanian Coach for a number of seasons and Paul has played many games but also contributed in the background in finding key sponsorship for our game.

Our inaugural winner of the “HUDSON MEDAL” is former Hawks Premiership Player and Victorian / All-Stars Player MICHAEL OSBORNE.

Congratulations “OSSIE” and thanks for your work behind scenes.

* Please note that after discussion since the game we will be awarding another “HUDSON MEDAL” tomorrow, so there are joint winners in 2026
