UPDATE: I’ve been given the all clear and discharged from hospital this evening. Grateful to all the staff who made my stay as comfortable as possible 🙏 I’ll be flying back to Melbourne tomorrow and am really looking forward to being home.

That was a big one…

First off, thank you for all of your concerned messages. I’m okay. Heading into the concrete barriers at 200km/h doesn’t tickle, and after ricocheting off into the path of others who collected me, I was pretty shaken up. I’m in hospital now under observation as a precaution. I hope everyone else involved in the incident is recovering well too.

I can’t express my gratitude enough for the marshals and medical staff who acted quickly to ensure I and the other drivers were safe. They don’t get enough credit for the amazing work that they do at each and every race weekend. I’m also incredibly grateful to my family for being by my side, and the wonderful staff at the hospital who are taking care of me.

Thank you to the Jones Motorsport team, Ｆａｂｉａｎ Ｃｏｕｌｔｈａｒｄ, and everybody else who came out to support me trackside this weekend, it’s so reassuring to know you’ve got my back. I couldn’t do it without you!

This sport can be dangerous, but it brings so many positives to the lives of everyone involved too. I will bounce back and I look forward to seeing everybody trackside again soon!

Townsville Week 🌴
This is one of my favourite rounds on the calendar! Street circuits bring a different kind of challenge, and I love it. The walls are close, but they make for great reference points and elevates the stakes that much higher. No room to drift off your line, every lap is a precision exercise.

Halfway through 2026 already, and what a season it's been so far.

Phillip Island. The Bend. Queensland Raceway. Every round this year has taught me something new, both on track and off it. None of this happens without the people who back me. To everyone who's followed along, commented, shared, and shown up for me this season: Thank you 🙏 You make every lap mean more.

As part of the neurodiverse community, I want to remind you all that although your brain works differently, that difference can be your edge. I know what it's like to feel like you process the world on a different frequency to everyone else, but I've learned that the things that make you different are often exactly what make you strong. Keep going. Keep showing up as yourselves. You can and will achieve amazing things in life, business and sport if you set your mind to it.

Huge thanks as always to Jones Motorsport for the solid foundation and the trust, and to Fabian Coulthard for continuing to sharpen my craft round after round.

Now, onto the second half. Townsville is just a couple of weeks away and I can't wait to get back behind the wheel and chase more results with this amazing team behind me 🌴

Round 3 at Queensland Raceway in the books ✅🏁

P10 in Race 1, complete with a wheel rim that looked like it a 50 cent piece 😅 Moved forward to P9 in Race 2, then Race 3 threw a curveball with front-right contact that bent the steering and made life difficult all the way to the flag. P13. We fight on 💪 Things in life, business and sport won’t always be easy, but as neurodiverse people we should always persevere and strive for the outcome we want. Anything is possible.

Can’t say enough about the Jones Motorsport crew, their preparation is second to none and the car was excellent all weekend. And to Fabian Coulthard, thank you for being in my corner every step of the way 🙌

We had some amazing fans visit us at the track who we always appreciate stopping by! In particular, a huge shoutout to Rachel from Accessible Racing Life for her support, she’s doing incredible advocacy work around disability inclusion in motorsport that really matters ❤️

It’s that time again! Back putting tyre to tarmac at Queensland Raceway ☀️

Back on track this past week in Queensland 🌦️ Two days of testing, wet and dry conditions, and a lot of work done to find the limits 🚧 Whatever Queensland Raceway throws at us in a couple of weeks, we’ll be ready. My Dad is mucking around with options and would like any thoughts and opinions 👍🏼👍🏼

My love for this sport is what keeps me coming back week after week, regardless of the challenges. It’s always a privilege to be able to share that passion for racing with other young people and to see the joy that motorsport brings to their faces.

Despite James’ own challenges, he came to support us over the weekend at The Bend. It means the world to be able to see him light up from being at the track and partake in the exhilarating atmosphere.

As an athlete, I wouldn’t be where I am without the support and encouragement of courageous individuals like James. In turn, I hope the motorsport community can also help support “Racing for James” - he and his family are on a journey to raise awareness and funds for Leukodystrophy Australia via sim racing.

Leukodystrophy is a group of genetic conditions that affect the central nervous system. There are over 100 people in Australia who are newly diagnosed every single year. Your support will continue to support families and encourage research so that kids with leukodystrophy, like James, can continue to live fulfilling lives and experience how the thrill of racing transcends physical boundaries.
