Commercial showroom upgrade completed by the Needhamair in-house team

With a quick turn around and only a 5 day window on site, our install team removed & decommissioned 8 x commercial evaporative coolers and replaced them with 6 x 25kW reverse cycle ducted air conditioning units to 36 outlets and 12 return air grilles.

With a building height of 7m, all outdoor units were carefully craned onto the roof and existing units craned off then being removed from site. Internally the installation of indoor fan coils, sheet metal, flexible ductwork, drains and refrigerant pipework were performed using 4 x scissor lifts allowing the team of 8 installers to work at the heights required efficiently and safely.

A huge effort by the team to coordinate the logistics, crane lifts, scissor lifts, custom ductwork, electrical and commissioning — delivering a modern, energy-efficient climate control solution ready for all seasons in a tight 3-week window from enquiry to completion.

Can’t forget the climate control when you’re renovating! This Mt Claremont renovation has had two Systems installed.
One 16kw Ducted with full individual temp control in each zone and a 25kw City Multi VRF with 7 individual indoor units for the ultimate comfort all year round
Fitted off over 2 stages; the final Outdoor Units and controllers were completed this week

The install team changed out an old top discharge Daikin system for a slim line 25kw City Multi VRF this week. A much improved aesthetic for the Outdoor Unit (see the last photo for what was removed). With all new integrated Zone Control including WiFi connectivity; the customer will now have the perfect temperature at their fingertips!
