Arts and Culture Trust of Western Australia are having open days on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 2026.

The proposed program includes:

• Friday 11 September 2026 – An education-focused Open Day for school-aged audiences, highlighting training, education, and career pathways within the screen and creative industries.
Target audience: approximately 3,000 attendees.

• Saturday 12 September 2026 – A public Open Day inviting the wider community to experience the scale, capability, and creativity of screen production in Western Australia.
Target audience: approximately 10,000 attendees.

2026 ILFORD ORLOFF AWARDS!!!

All welcome to come and find out about The 2026 Ilford Orloff Awards

The in-depth session will take through everything you need to know about entering The 2026 Ilford Orloff Awards. The presenters will walk you through the sections, rules categories, entry process, key dates, the live judging process (including how entrants remain anonymous during this process) and what entrants need to know before submitting.

What will be covered:

Photographic Stills Professional Award Categories and Awards
Video and Media Category Entries
State Library of Western Australia Narrative Award (open to all levels of photography)

State Library staff will also share information about photography collection practices, submission pathways and the State Library of Western Australia’s Narrative Award category. This SLWA Narrative Award, part of the 2026 Ilford Orloff awards, celebrates imagery that is dynamic and storytelling in nature, evoking the culture and history of Western Australia.

In addition, members of The 2026 Ilford Orloff Awards subcommittee will be on hand to answer all your questions, offering expert guidance to help you put your best foot forward.
