Thank you to all the entrants, judges, sponsors and crew for making the 2026 Ilford Orloff Awards happen again this year.

So what's next?

The crew will be working behind the scenes to notify the finalists and they will be invited to print their relevant images. So keep an eye out for that email.

We will then conduct the Closed Print Judging to determine the winners.

Then the exciting part. On November 5th at the State library theatre we will celebrate and announce the winners of the 2026 Ilford Orloff Awards

Aerial landscapes have been my happy place for a number of years, escaping into the wide open spaces, in the middle of nowhere. A necessary place to go periodically, a good place.
Recently I’ve gotten into shooting rodeos too, a completely different space, horses and bulls and people, lots of different people, a whole amazing community. The action, the noise, the dust—it’s raw and it’s alive.
Two very different spaces to shoot and spend time in. They’re both exactly where I want to be.
