Produce plays such an important role in the stories behind the food that lands on our tables. The growers, the makers and the people behind the scenes who give it their all.

We’ve been lucky to spend time with Stu and the team at Stakehill Produce, creating lo-fi content and capturing the many ways their tomatoes are used across Perth, from restaurant kitchens to our own weekend market hauls and some seriously good weekend specials.

August has rolled in, bringing back Plateful Perth.

This year, Sauma’s famous Jumbo Thali journeys to Kerala, India’s Land of Spices. A region known for its fragrant curries, coconut-rich cooking and layered spice blends, all brought together on one generous platter designed to share.

Start with pani puri, paniyaram with coconut chutney, ghee roast squid and Kerala fried chicken, fragrant fish moilee, Kerala beef and dal curriess with lemon rice and paratha, and sweet treats. Celebrate the warmth and abundance of Kerala’s coastal cuisine and designed to share.

Bringing good people together.

Dusk at 11 Acre Farm began with a simple idea: connect great chefs with an extraordinary place. We loved developing the campaign and bringing together Head Chefs Fendi B**g of The Good Paddock at 11 Acre Farm and Eddie Bulatao of GATHER FOODS for the first instalment of what we hope becomes a long-running dinner series.

Cooking over fire. Celebrating Noongar Boodja. Incredible produce harvested from the farm just metres away. The evening began with drinks and canapés through the gardens before everyone gathered around the table as dusk settled over the farm.
