Science Week: A Formula for Fun 🥼🧪

Our little scientists had an exciting week exploring, experimenting and discovering through hands on learning experiences.

From fizzing dinosaur and animal sensory play, to erupting volcanoes and colour growing flowers, the children were encouraged to make predictions, observe changes and explore cause and effect in fun and creative ways.

'Our Things That Grow' experiences also gave children the opportunity to explore how plants develop, including planting their very own basil seeds and learning about what plants need to grow. 🌱

Science Week reminded us that wonder can be found in the simplest things, and that sometimes the best learning starts with a little question: “I wonder what will happen?”

Indigenous Incursion at MercyCare Bennett Springs 🌿
Recently the children at Bennett Springs enjoyed a wonderful Indigenous incursion where they explored Aboriginal culture through native plants, animals, music, and storytelling. It was a hands-on learning experience that encouraged curiosity, respect, and a deeper appreciation of Australia's rich First Nations heritage.
A big thank you to Indigenous tour W.A for sharing such a meaningful experience with our children! 💛🖤❤️

Our Thornlie Centre Mini Chefs Have Graduated! 👨‍🍳🎓

Families came together to watch our littlest learners culminate their journey through the Mini Chef program.

Along the way, our tiny chefs mastered real skills like slicing, spreading, pouring, mashing and safe mixing 🍓🥄

Seeing them proudly wear their aprons and chef hats to share their creations with loved ones was the perfect way to celebrate this milestone 💛
