🏠 Struggling to keep up with your rent? Support may be available.

The WA Rent Relief Program has been extended through to 30 June 2027, providing an important source of support for eligible renters experiencing rental stress.

The program provides one-off rent relief payments to eligible tenants who are at risk of their tenancy being terminated due to rent arrears. Support may include assistance with rent arrears and/or future rent, as well as support to negotiate with landlords to help continue the tenancy.

At Peel Community Legal Services (PCLS), we have a Tenancy Advocate available in our office who can provide support and guidance if you are experiencing difficulties with your tenancy.

📞 Need tenancy support?
Book an appointment with our Tenancy Advocate by calling 08 9581 4511 or emailing [email protected].

Please share this post with your network and with any private renters you know who may be experiencing rental stress or struggling to keep up with their rent.

We don’t heal alone. We heal in relationship and we heal at the speed of trust. We Al-li is grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing. Our work understands healing as something that happens within us, between us and around us....through relationship with family, community, culture, Country, ancestors and spirit, and through transforming the systems that have caused and continue to cause harm. Our We Al-li 6 Phases of Healing (developed by Judy Atkinson) take us through creating safe enough places, finding and telling our stories, making sense of those stories, feeling the feelings, moving through layers of loss and grief, and reclaiming our cultural and spiritual identities - a return to wholeness. This is healing work AND it is liberation work. If you’re interested in learning more about how we work, we have upcoming We Al-li Facilitator Trainings: Melbourne | 19–23 October 2026 Northern Rivers | 9–13 November 2026 Reach out to us for more information or to express your interest. 🧡 Healing.
