Last night we met for a very special book club with Fiona Wilkes, the author of I remember everything.

After a fascinating discussion with Fiona, our groups gathered together to unravel the ins and outs of this moving and heartwrenching story. There was a lot of love for the book, with many finding the content around the q***r experience of the AIDS crisis confronting, but also enlightening. Many found the characters loveable although there was some spirited debate about the relationship between the main character and her best friend.

In September, we're reading The Girl with the Seven Lives by Vikas Swarup, the author of Q&A which was turned into the movie Slumdog Millionaire. Devi grew up in the slums of Delhi where survival means making a few enemies. Now she's being held captive, her life up for sale in an online auction.
