Busselton for the weekend, Bingo Loco Friday night, hit the Rose/Bitch diesel which let’s face it never ends well!

Jumped up and down as much as my knees should let me then stumbled home only to bash my head on the cupboard on the side of the bed……had to happen at some point!

Slow morning followed by breakie with friends then off to a winery for “Flames and Games”. Beat the husband at connect 4, operation and Triv! Only managed 3 puzzle pieces though…..nursing home ready!

Quick overnighter to Hero’s To Hub to raise $$ for RFDS. Entered the 5km run rather than the 26km for the die hards!

Such a fantastic event and what an amazing community. If you are ever passing through Mogumber in WA check out the 48 hour rest stop at the oval which is amazing and the local pub for a good feed!

My new caravan toy, it’s painful getting the BBQ out if we only go away for a couple of nights and we’re on power so bought this portable grill from Kmart $39!

Toodyay away!!!!!

After waiting for a weekend without rain one finally showed up! Hooked up Ted and off we went……..ricked up in the dark and failed to get a fire going so it was heating on and an inside night.

Saturday started out with parkrun followed by coffee and jaffles. Then relax and book reading before heading to the pub for some afternoon drinkies. Matso was super popular showing off his tricks.

Saturday night fire lighting was a bit more successful.

Day 2 Staycation

Headed to Carine parkrun after realising my caravan runners were back home in the shed! The Reebok Classics kindly stepped in as I’m not a barefoot runner not on rough ground anyway!

The off to Mettams Pool as the Trigg cam showed the most perfect conditions and OMG it was amazing. Found a friendly ray!

Went top top up the gas at BCF and nearly added to my Yeti collection but I was good and put it back. Although the replacement fan was expensive enough.

Tried not to get divorced putting said fan up! Few bitch diesels at the caravans cafe before BBQ and early night watching murder doccos.

Day 1 Staycation

Rocked up at 4:30, backed in, set up in record time!

Time for a gin before heading to the city to watch . Did lots of circling back, synergising and aligning with corporate values before heading home.

Will be working from the van this week so get to try out my new portable split screen and Starlink!!!!!!

Day 4 Digging it in Dongara

Last day, went to Greenough. Interesting!

Pup found a buddy to play with before he helped day back at the caravan site to clean the BBQ, good job!

The water had been turned on in the sky, so some stormy walks on the beach before leftovers for dinner and a movie.

Day 3 Digging it in Dongara

Told hubby that we were taking the dog for a walk, 7km later…….

Sirocco fan handle died so decided to see if we could fix it, nope 👎🏻 what a task that was. I thought it was leg day but turned out it was arm day!

Took pup 🐶 to the beach, 🌊 we’re pretty feral. Pup has been building his confidence in the water and has been doing well. He decided he was now an Olympic 🏊‍♂️ and took off into the water whilst I had a panic attack.

Thankfully he wasn’t shook up and tried it again 🙄🤦‍♀️

Ended the day playing with his new girlfriend Marley and barking at people fishing. 🎣

Day 2 Digging it in Dongara

After being stalked for my coffee we walked to the markets to by large quantities of pickles and chutneys.

Then after a rest we took Matso to the beach for his swimming lesson before coming home to be informed that I needed a shot of vodka.

Well I can confirm I didn’t need one and will never have one again, if I want to remove paint I’ll try it then.

Day 1 Digging it at Dongara

Arrived after dark so no photos!!!! Instead a photo of us with our first caravan 2 years ago. This was a project we took on to sell. No 🚽 so it wasn’t an option it keep it.

Hoping “Bunkie” is still going strong and making her new owners happy.
