Coming to Dianella ✨
Just one part of the whitebrickproject, currently under construction. This kitchen balances rich timber tones, striking natural stone and soft architectural curves to create a warm, refined heart of the home.
We can’t wait to see this beauty take shape over the coming months. 🤎

The heart of this South Fremantle extension is beginning to take shape. Designed as a generous, social kitchen, rich timber joinery, dramatic natural stone and a warm, earthy palette create a space that feels both grounded and inviting.
As cabinetry starts to go in, we’re getting our first glimpse of the vision coming to life and we can’t wait to share what’s next.

Rainy days have a way of slowing everything down. The perfect excuse to curl up by the fire, let the warmth settle in, and enjoy the quiet moments.

Small in footprint, generous in experience. Every centimetre of our Heytesbury master ensuite was carefully considered to create a space that feels both luxurious and timeless.
A freestanding bath sits comfortably alongside a shower wrapped entirely in Rosso marble, immersing you in rich burgundy tones the moment you step inside. Paired with warm walnut joinery, aged brass detailing and soft natural stone, this compact retreat proves that thoughtful design isn’t about size, it’s about how a space makes you feel. ✨

There’s something special about the moments between rooms. From this spot in the bedroom at Heytesbury Street, you catch a glimpse through to the compact walk in robe, where the joinery continues the same language as the chest of drawers off to the side.
It’s a small detail, but it does a lot of work. Designing the built in chest to match the wardrobe finishes creates a sense of flow between the two spaces, and the robe itself feels larger and more considered as a result.
We love designing these quiet connections. They’re easy to miss at first glance, but they’re often what makes a home feel layered and complete. 😌

Riley Road — Master Suite
The front of the house called for a different mood entirely. A cooler grey palette, custom cabinetry with fabric inserts and an ensuite designed around stillness and material depth.
Stone wraps every surface, broken only by iron bronze hardware and the soft, natural glow of a narrow light tunnel overhead draws the sunshine in throughout the day.
Restraint, when it is intentional, is the most luxurious thing of all.

JOD is looking for a junior interior designer to join our Subiaco studio, full time.
This is an entry level, hands-on role supporting our design team across a portfolio of bespoke residential projects. If you’re fresh out of study and ready to learn in a fast-moving, detail-obsessed environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What we’re looking for:
A passion for residential design and a strong aesthetic sensibility. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software. A keen eye for materials, finishes, and spatial composition. Strong communication and organisational skills. A collaborative, solutions-focused attitude. Someone eager to grow, who takes initiative and brings care to every task.
One of the things our team loves most about working at JOD is that no two projects are the same. We work across a wide range of residential aesthetics, from heritage restoration to contemporary new builds, which means you’ll be constantly challenged, inspired, and growing.

Winter is coming for it this weekend in Perth. 🌧️
This is the living room we designed for our Claremont project - no TV, no screens, just a fireplace, a deep sofa, and space to disconnect.
We think every home deserves a room like this. One that invites you to slow down, pick up a book, and stay a while. 🖤
