Our Bibra Lake workshop has plenty of work on, and we're after experienced Boilermakers and Pipefitters who take pride in what they build. Pipe spools, plate work, structural and mechanical fabrication, carbon and stainless steel, and enough variety that no two weeks look the same.

If you can set out and fabricate accurately from drawings and you care about getting the details right, we want to hear from you.

You'll need:
✔️ Australian recognised trade qualification (Boilermaker, Pipefitter or equivalent)
✔️ Post-trade experience in an engineering or fabrication workshop
✔️ Confidence reading engineering and shop detail drawings
✔️ Australian working rights

A fortnight on, we're still pretty proud of this one.

Our Managing Director, Jasmine Kadic, was named Indigenous Businesswoman of the Year at the 2026 Supply Nation Supplier Diversity Awards.

Jasmine, a Whadjuk Ballardong woman, co-founded Benang in 2018. Eight years on, the team is more than 80 strong, delivering fabrication, civil, water, power and gas infrastructure across Western Australia.

Accepting the award, Jasmine dedicated it to "the women who have shaped the Indigenous business industry. For the grandmothers who walked the streets and fought to be seen. For the women who continued to show up, even when they felt like nobody was watching."

Our Managing Director and Co-Founder, Jasmine Kadic , has won the Industry Leader award at the CCF WA Women in Civil Awards.

Presented by the Civil Contractors Federation WA, the award recognises a woman whose leadership has driven excellence and equity across Western Australia's civil construction industry. We cannot think of anyone more deserving.

A proud Whadjuk and Ballardong woman, Jasmine has built Benang into an Aboriginal-owned, self-performing multi-utility contractor while creating meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal people and for women across our industry.
