Juniors, mums, dads, members, supporters and racers travelling from near and far. It's all part of creating the atmosphere we love!

Motorsport brings us together, and we're lucky to have members competing in go-karts, dirt racing and circuit racing outside the centre too.

🏎️ Catalaya Salvia's go-kart will be on display this weekend, adding a little extra motorsport atmosphere to our biggest event of the year!

It’s with great sadness that we share the passing of our friend and Tuesday night regular, Chad Raven.

It took a fair bit of convincing to get Chad to race with us. We kept telling him it wasn’t about being the fastest or winning — it was about joining a social group, having somewhere to come, hang out, have a laugh and be part of something. Racing was simply the bonus.

Chad lived with a disability that made everyday physical activities incredibly difficult, but he still became a familiar and much-loved face on Tuesday nights.

He was also always around at our big events, excited for good racing and happy to be part of it all.

Hearing that Chad took his own life has been incredibly difficult for everyone who knew him.

This week of racing, and especially this Tuesday night, gives us a chance to reflect on what Perth Slot Car Racing is really about.

It’s about people. Socialising, switching off from life outside, having a laugh and knowing there is somewhere you are welcome.

This Tuesday will be a tough one, and the night is dedicated to our friend Chad.

We will advise future ceremonies and plans once we are notified

You’ll be greatly missed mate. ❤️

🏆 THE LYNETTE CUP — THIS TUESDAY & THURSDAY

It’s a MEGA WEEK of slot car racing at Perth Slot Car Racing as we build toward the **Perth NSR Championship this weekend!

Before the championship begins, Tuesday and Thursday are all about the Lynette Cup — a special two-night event dedicated to Lynette, our head staff member and a huge part of Perth Slot Car Racing.

Expect great racing, good people and a fun social atmosphere with a fast and simple RevoSlot GT1 & GT2 format.

FORMAT

Bring either a RevoSlot GT1 or GT2

2-lap qualifying
1 full grouped round of racing
GT1 and GT2 race together through the main round
The classes then split for the finals

If we have 6 or more GT1s and 6 or more GT2s

Top 6 GT1 → GT1 Final
Top 6 GT2 → GT2 Final

If we don’t have enough for two separate finals:

Top 3 GT1 + Top 3 GT2 → Combined Final 6
