Numero Club in Action!

Our dedicated Numero Club students give up their recess each Tuesday to practise their skills and challenge their mathematical thinking.

They are working hard and having plenty of fun as they prepare for the upcoming Interschool Numero Tournament! 🏆

We’re so proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment. Good luck, team! 👏✨

🌿 River Rangers in Action! 🌿

Last Thursday after school, our River Rangers joined local volunteers to help w**d the bushland and learn about the beautiful plants currently flowering.

The students even had a friendly competition to see which group could pull out the biggest pile of w**ds! It was great to see the difference last year’s hard work has made.

What an excursion! 🏟️✨

Rooms 9 and 10 headed to Optus Stadium for an unforgettable day! Students were lucky enough to explore behind the scenes, visiting the change rooms, warm-up areas and even the coaches’ box.

It was such an amazing experience, with plenty of students declaring it the “best excursion ever!” A fantastic day filled with excitement, learning and lots of great memories! 🏟️🙌

📚✨ Story Time in Room 8! ✨📚

Each week, one lucky student gets to choose a book and read it aloud to the class.

It’s such a fun part of their library time, and the students love listening to their classmates, while eagerly looking forward to when it’s their turn to be the storyteller!

♻️🌿 Our River Rangers sculptures are complete!

Introducing Leonardo Da Pinchy and Nameless Numbat – two very proud new additions to the MPS outdoor area! 🦞🐾

Created using recycled materials, these incredible sculptures are certainly something special!

A huge thank you to our River Rangers team and Junkadelic for bringing these creations to life. Our students are so proud of what they have created, and we can’t wait for the Manning community to enjoy them for years to come! 💙🌿♻️

What a way to finish the week!

Last week we wrapped up with one of the absolute highlights of the school year, our annual Faction Carnival!

What a brilliant day it was! From the fantastic sportsmanship and amazing performances to the incredible team spirit and cheering from the sidelines, there was such a great atmosphere all day long.

A huge thank you to all the families who came along to support our students and help make the day so special. We loved having so many members of our school community there cheering everyone on!

A massive congratulations to Red Faction for taking out the honours for the day! ❤️🏆

And finally, a very big thank you to Mr Edmonds and Miss Taylor for all the hard work, planning and organisation that went into making the carnival such a fantastic day for everyone.

Creativity in Action with our River Rangers!

Our River Rangers have been busy getting creative with an exciting student-driven project alongside Junkadelic!

From the initial ideas and designs right through to the creation process, our students have been at the centre of it all. They brainstormed different old and recycled items that could be transformed into something new, while the Junkadelic team helped source the materials and offered plenty of creative inspiration along the way.

The finished creations will be installed during their next session, and we can’t wait to see them come to life!

📚✨ Book Week at Manning! ✨📚

This week, Manning Primary celebrated Book Week in true style, and what a fantastic week it was!

The costumes absolutely blew us away, with so many creative, colourful and clever characters bringing our favourite books to life.

Our Book Week parade was a highlight, and it was wonderful to see the excitement as students proudly showed off their amazing creations.

A big shout-out to our staff too, who certainly got into the Book Week spirit and joined in the fun!

Thank you to all our families for the time, effort and creativity that went into making Book Week such a memorable celebration. We loved seeing our school filled with so many wonderful book characters!
