Yesterday in the many boxes of books paperwork , photographs and journals.
I found my very first diary from the year 1999 when we arrived in Australia
It felt like going into a time capsule๐Ÿ˜

I was clearly feeling overwhelmed as we did all of the settling in things
I kept saying I will give it two years then if I dont like it Im going home lol

Two things surprised me :

I underestimated the version of me back then ,

The woman, the mum , the wife, the lecturer who had a sliding door moment in 1997 in the small village I lived in, in the North East of England.

As I pushed my two year old son in his pram through the village ,I happend to glance across to the hairdressers. There in a row were all the pensioners ,sitting under drying domes , getting their hair done.

For a second I saw myself, living my life in the village and ending up in the hairdressers under a dome getting my hair done !!!

I had a huge ๐๐จ ๐–๐š๐ฒ ! response from my whole body and mind.
There has to be more to life than this

That day I called and asked for the paper work to begin the process of the journey to follow my brother and emigrate to Australia'

It wasnt easy, it cost alot ,but it was worth every penny.
The journey hasnt always been easy
But the rewards have been great ๐Ÿ’—

I underestimated the power of manifestation
I underestimated my inner power to create a life I love
I underestimated how far I could stretch and grow
