Perth’s #1 ancient Egyptian treasure Vault
Would you speak to your ba?
To the ancient Egyptians your ba was a part of you that could exist beyond your physical body and you start by looking within, not outside..
Find your ba,
Speak with your ba,
Understand your ba.
Who knows? Maybe you will find all the answers you’ve been searching for this whole time.
What happened to the sphinx’s nose?
It wasn’t blown off by Napoleon…
It didn’t erode over time..
Religious iconoclasts deliberately chiseled the nose off to prove to the ancient Egyptians that these figures aren’t divine and by removing the nose, the spirit would suffocate.
So did these religious iconoclasts succeed?
NO! IT ACTUALLY DID THE OPPOSITE
These actions actually reinforced the belief and because the ancient Egyptians believed the act of vandalism would bring down divine wrath, the angry locals executed Al-Dahr; the man who chiseled nose off. They also viewed the act as an attempt to politically or religiously silence a rival power rather than proving no power existed in the first place.

The Pharaoh-Father 1
They come asking for help but I don’t remember the last time they invited me to their home for a cup of coffee. They come to me on my daughters wedding asking me to help with a grain debt.. not with respect, not offering friendship, not even thinking to call me pharaoh

THEATRE 🎭
The Roman’s adopted the Greek tradition of large open air theatres for drama and public performances, then systematically adapted the form to roman tastes and architectural life.
FASHION/MILITARY STYLE 🪖
Greek styles including the Corinthian helmet tradition influenced roman military equipment and visual culture. Rome adapted Greek and Hellenistic forms incorporating them into roman designs and styles of their own.
PHILOSOPHY 🧠
Greek philosophy became deeply influential in roman intellectual life. Stoicism, founded by the Greek philosopher Zeno of Citium, was adopted and developed by roman thinkers including Seneca, Epictetus, and Marcus Aurelius.
LITERATURE 📖
In this example both epics feature a hero: Odysseus and Aeneas, whose voyage is disrupted by a hostile deity’s storm, putting the entire expedition at risk of destruction. Virgil’s Aeneid deliberately echoes and reworks Homeric material and the storm is one of the clearest examples of this imitatio..
