Yesterday morning we welcomed a sold-out room of primary and secondary educators to the City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club for our SpringMath information session with Dr Amanda VanDerHeyden, founder and Chief Product Officer of SpringMath.

Amanda gave a clear, practical look at how a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) can drive whole-school improvement in mathematics. She covered how to structure support so every student gets what they need, and how to turn data into action in the classroom.

A huge thank you to Amanda for sharing her expertise, and to every educator who joined us. It was great to see so many schools committed to strengthening maths outcomes for their students.

Day 1 down, 1 to go! What an incredible first day of our Instructional Coaching Series with Wellard Primary's middle leaders. When Wellard PS asked us to tailor this Instructional Coaching series specifically for their context, we knew their team of middle leaders would make it their own, and they absolutely did.

Last week, Janine and Jess had the privilege of travelling to Geraldton to spend the day with the incredible Educational Assistants of the Mid-West Educational Network.

Together, they explored the science of learning, evidence-based practice, full participation, and practical ways to support students in developing their executive function skills. Most importantly, they discussed the powerful role Educational Assistants play in helping every student access learning, experience success, and make meaningful progress.

What stood out most was the deep commitment, expertise, and care in the room. The conversations were thoughtful, the engagement was exceptional, and the shared focus on improving outcomes for students was inspiring.

Teach Well is so impressed by the work of the Mid-West Educational Network in bringing educators together across the region. When teachers and Educational Assistants work hand-in-hand, students benefit from a more consistent, responsive, and supportive learning experience.
