It was a little too early in the day for an ice cream, so I ordered a smoothie instead!😉🍦😋Of course, I insist that we always test to make sure our work is functioning as it should before we leave the job… this one just happened to be installing a new power supply for the ice cream machine at Crooked Spire in Henley Brook.

It’s a pleasant place to sit for morning tea, among birds and trees - there’s even a playground for the kids.

Do you recall that ensuite renovation we were about to start on recently? We had provided electrical services for their main bathroom reno, and this was the next step in making their home more comfortable, functional, and modern.

They chose the matching side-lit mirrors with variable light settings as well as an inbuilt heating option to prevent misting. Lighting, wiring, and power points were updated as needed, as part of the renovation of the main bedroom suite.

We've done work for a couple of wonderful elderly clients this week, which reminded me of a lovely note I received from Lucy some time ago. Her dear mum, Hazel, has since passed on - but it's quite rewarding knowing that our services are helping to improve someone's quality of life.

"Just letting you know how thrilled Hazel was with your work. She said you were such a lovely person. The scooter arrived on the Friday, her actual 99th birthday, so she very proudly drove it to her birthday party at the main lodge.

Also, some more feedback. Western Power came out unexpectedly to inspect the outside work that you and Jay did, and was very happy with it. Also, the electrician who did the original work came out for a minor repair. It turns out, he had been as frustrated as anyone else with the wiring set-up, for all the same reasons. Anyway, he asked to see your work on the sub-board and he said it was 'beautiful work'. Just thought you’d like to know. Cheers, Lucy."

We recently replaced two non-functioning pole lights with new LED floodlights to brighten the storefront and drive-through area of a local fast-food outlet.

Good external lighting makes a big difference – improving visibility for customers, enhancing security, and creating a safer environment after dark.
