Fish Bones

Bones have been on my mind a lot recently when drawing. I have been struggling with seeing all the thinness in the media at the moment and wondering how to express the distress this causes for so many. So will be exploring those themes a bit more me thinks..

For now a little commentary on the “hook” of societal beauty. Take it as you will 🐟

Also trying to do a drawing a day-ish so hopefully will be posting pretty regularly!

Migration is an earth right

With the rise in far-right Pauline driven madness I felt compelled to do a drawing based off of one of my favourite quotes shown with the sharp-tailed sandpiper; a migratory bird that travels approx 10 000km from Siberia to Australia each year.

• Hyde Park •

We are very excited to announce our first group exhibition “Hyde Park”!

Exhibiting at Inglewood Arts Hub from the 6th - 16th of August, “Hyde Park” is an exhibition exploring the iconic Perth park and the challenges it faces.

Over 12 months we have been documenting the park either on site or in the studio. We are excited to showcase over 40 pieces to you and to pay homage to this beautiful park.

Official opening with be on Saturday the 9th of August from 2-4pm so please join us for some art and drinks! We will also be holding artist talks and a free sketch session on Sunday the 10th of August so keep your eyes peeled for more information.
