North Side Security

A lot went into this one… and the before & after speaks for itself. 👌

This project brought together CCTV, video intercom, access control and networking into one integrated setup.

We rebuilt the network rack, installed the new intercom and gate access system, and even had a custom aluminium plate made to get the outdoor station looking right.

These are the jobs we love - a bit of problem solving, some custom work, plenty of attention to detail, and a very satisfying before & after.

Everything working together. Exactly how it should be.

A security camera should give you confidence - not flash in broad daylight.

If your CCTV system is unreliable, poorly positioned or no longer working as intended, it may not be protecting your home or business when it matters most.

North Side Security designs and installs professional CCTV systems across Perth’s northern suburbs, with the right equipment, placement and setup from day one.

A security system is only as good as the way it’s installed.

Cameras and recorders get all the attention, but what you don’t see matters just as much.

In this job, we were called in to upgrade an existing system. We found loose cabling, poor routing, cables wrapped around other services, and an installation that simply wasn’t built to last.

A professional installation isn’t just about making it look neat. It’s about:

• Following Australian standards and industry best practice
• Protecting cables from damage over time
• Making future servicing and upgrades straightforward
• Respecting other trades working in the roof space
• Leaving your home safer than we found it

We install every system with the expectation that we’ll be back in 10 years to upgrade it - not to fix shortcuts.

If you’re planning a new CCTV system or replacing an older installation, we’d be happy to help.

Ever wondered where everything actually goes in a proper home security setup?

We just added an interactive house to our website. Tap any device - cameras, alarm sensors, video intercom, the recorder, even a bedside panic button - and it shows you what it does, where it gets installed, and why.

Just have a poke around:

No eaves? No problem. 👌

One of the most common questions we get is:
“How do you mount cameras on rendered or brick homes without making it look terrible?”

In this walkthrough, we show exactly how we professionally mount CCTV cameras when there’s no eave access - including mounting techniques, cable management, weather sealing, positioning and the little details that separate a clean install from a rushed one.

Anyone can screw a camera to a wall.
Very few make it look like it was meant to be there.

Most CCTV footage looks terrible until you actually need it.

We wanted to show what these cameras really look like during the day, at night, with audio, AI alerts and inside the app itself.

No subscriptions.
No cheap blurry footage.
No guessing who’s at your front door.

Just a properly installed system that works when it matters.
