I want to make dogs lives better. Helping you and your dog build real life skills using concept training and behaviour training.
IMDT accredited, Cert IV in Animal Behaviour and Training and continued studies in Concept Training (UK and Canada). I want to help improve your dog’s life. Let’s talk and meet to assess their needs, identify problem areas. Together we’ll identify what needs to change and what we need to strengthen. First we’ll stop your dog practicing unwanted behaviors by managing the environment, they become what they can rehearse. Then we’ll create a training plan. There is no judgement, you are doing the best you can with all the information you have. I’ll teach you and your dog practical skills to help handle real-life situations. I use force-free, positive reinforcement training methods, positive reinforcement is more than just handing out treats— with time, structure, consistency, patience and empathy we strengthen and teach the behaviours we want meaning your dog will be more likely make right choices in the future, eventually the right choice selection becomes automatic. I offer One-on-One Training (home consults) and Puppy Consults (pre-puppy arrival and post puppy arrival). Coming soon!
- Group lessons (beginner, intermediate and advanced)

Studies have shown that there is between a 30% and 80% correlation between pain and undesirable behaviour, aggression and/or barking. If your dog isn't acting like it usually does, see a vet. Pain isn't always obvious in a dog and a dog can still play and run because adrenaline takes over and masks pain. They are just a lot sorer after play and their behaviour might become worse for a while. Foxy Dogs Dog Training has group training classes in City Beach and West Leederville, puppy kindy in Jolimont and also does one-on-on home consults.

Capturing issues early is so much easier than trying to change things later when your dog has been able to rehearse undesirable behaviours for a long time and these bad behaviours become automatic coping strategies for them. Foxy Dog Dog Training is based out of Floreat with group classes in City Beach and West Leederville and Puppy Kindy in Jolimont.

We often ignore good behaviour that happens organically on an everyday basis as it's just in the background of our day. Capture it! Reward it! This helps to communicate to your dog that you want more of that behaviour.
