Chronic inflammation often hides behind “everything looks normal” while the system keeps treating and masking symptoms instead of asking why they’re there.

That’s the gap this carousel is about — the years between feeling off and getting a name for it. Years where the trajectory could still be changed.

This is exactly why FIHA exists. Not to wait for the diagnosis. To find the fire before it becomes one.

If health optimisation and advanced functional lab testing has been on your radar, join our Founding Client Cohort today — telehealth consults, at-home functional lab testing, root-cause investigation, founding pricing.

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and the sign we’re highlighting today isn’t the one you’d expect.

If you’ve followed me a while, you’ll know I’m currently in Europe — my father was placed in hospice care here, with terminal prostate cancer. He also lost his hair rapidly, starting in his 30s.

Most men associate prostate risk with what’s happening “down there.” Ayurveda’s been looking at the mirror instead — and modern research is starting to agree.

Full breakdown in the carousel: the mind-body link, the research, and the food swaps that matter.

You were told everything looked fine.

But you’re exhausted. You’re in pain. You’re not yourself.

And nobody could tell you why.

This is the gap between standard testing and what your body is actually doing — and it’s where most people fall through.

If you recognised yourself in any of these slides — your body has been trying to tell you something.

Tired all the time isn’t just “life at this stage.”

It’s not a personality trait. It’s not something you fix with more coffee. It’s not something to just push through.

It’s a message from your body — and messages have a source.

Broken cortisol rhythm. A thyroid panel that only tells half the story. A gut that’s quietly keeping your immune system switched on. Foods triggering delayed reactions you’d never connect to fatigue. Mineral levels nobody thinks to check.

None of it shows up on a standard blood test. All of it is measurable when you know what to look for.

For a short time, FIHA accepts a limited number of Founding Clients — everything done from home, Australia-wide.

Some of you will remember my post about prostate cancer — 1 in 8 men. My father is one of them, and he’s now being moved to hospice care. So I’ve had to jump on a flight to Europe to be with him while I still can.

FIHA has always been built on honesty — about root causes, about what healing actually takes, and about being human while doing this work. So I won’t pretend this is business as usual.

And going through this again has brought it all back — every way it was missed the first time. Inflammation dismissed. Symptoms masked instead of investigated. Told, more than once, that it had nothing to do with his diagnosis. It was simply genetic and ‘bad luck’. When I raised the connection between his mouth and his cancer — the periodontal disease, the mouth full of silver amalgams he’d had for years — I was completely ignored. It had nothing to do with ‘their work’. And they’re never going to see the connections.

This is exactly why I do this work. Root causes don’t get chased — they get managed, medicated, and missed. By the time something is “found,” the damage is already done.

If you’re already a client, nothing changes on your end — I’ll still be on the other side of the screen working through your labs, just from a different time zone.

If you’ve been sitting on a founding client application, it’s still open, and I’d love to have you.

I’ll ask for a little patience with replies over the next few weeks while I navigate this.

Appreciate you all, more than you know. 🤍

🥛Milk isn’t the villain. But for a lot of bodies, it’s quietly running an inflammation loop nobody’s checking for.

IgG dairy sensitivities don’t show up as an allergy. No swelling, no hives, no immediate red flag. It’s because IgG sensitivities are delayed immune reactions. Often manifesting as fatigue. Skin that won’t settle. Joints that ache for ‘no reason’. The kind of stuff that gets dismissed as “normal.”

If your gut lining is already compromised, it’s worse — undigested proteins slip through the gate they’re meant to be stopped at, and your immune system starts treating your own food like a threat.

This is what functional lab testing is built to catch. Not guesswork. Not another elimination diet you’re doing blind. Actual data on what your body is reacting to. The integrity of your gut barrier can also be tested.

Your omega-6 to omega-3 ratio is one of the most overlooked markers in both conventional bloodwork and functional medicine — and one of the most telling when it comes to chronic, low-grade inflammation.

Brain fog. Joint pain. Skin issues. Fatigue that doesn’t add up. If you’ve been told your bloods are “normal” but you still feel inflamed, this could be part of the picture — or there may be other root causes at play.

Take the guesswork out with functional lab testing.

You can’t out-supplement a broken gut.

Bloating. Fatigue. Skin issues. Hormonal chaos. Different symptoms, same root cause.

Your gut runs immunity, inflammation, mood, hormones, and nutrient absorption. Modern life quietly wears it down — until the body can’t adapt anymore.

Healing isn’t more supplements. It’s nourish, remove, regulate.

And when generic advice fails? Test, don’t guess.

Here’s what most people miss: TSH was never the problem. It’s the messenger — your body’s smoke alarm going off because something else needs attention.

Nutrient deficiencies. Chronically high cortisol. A circadian rhythm that’s flipped upside down. Possible autoimmune involvement. Blood sugar swings nobody’s checking. Heavy metals and everyday toxins quietly competing with your thyroid for iodine.

Six different reasons your TSH could be climbing — and every single one of them can actually be tested.

Stop chasing the smoke. Find out what’s really setting off the alarm.

FIHA has now opened a limited number of Founding Client spots — telehealth, Australia-wide, everything delivered to your door.
