Nearly 8 in 10 Australian teachers have observed or experienced gendered violence at school.

Thatโ€™s not a statistic we can look away from.

Respect is a skill, and like any skill it can be taught. Bookings for our Respectful Relationships year 9 program 2027 are open, giving young people the tools to build respect in every relationship: with friends, family, partners and online.

Prevention starts in the classroom. And it starts now.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Back to the 80โ€™s! Can you spot the AI?

While this social media trend has been taking off, our Education team have been continuing to integrate digital and AI literacy into our program.

The eSafety Commissioner recently revealed that 78% of Australian children aged 10โ€“17 have used an AI assistant, with 54% using these tools for personal or social reasons.

๐Ÿšฆ Children don't need to avoid AI, but they do need support to use it safely.

AI assistants can enhance learning and creativity, but children and young people need to critically cultivate their digital health literacy to protect their privacy, be able to verify information and understand that chatbots are tools, not trusted advisers.

๐Ÿ™‹ Did you pick the trick question? Thereโ€™s no AI here, just cherished memories captured during our first years of impact.

โฉ Nutrition education is changing ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅช

Because the way we talk about food in schools can leave lasting impressions on developing minds.

๐Ÿ”Ž This is what Western Sydney University's SHiNE research is investigating.
We're proud to be a part of this initiative, set to develop world-first guidelines on safe nutrition messaging for schools: https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/thri/research/mental-health/shine

National Child Protection Week - NAPCAN 09/09/2026

Talking to your child about body boundaries and consent can feel awkward ๐Ÿค”

It's completely understandable! But these conversations are important.

They "don't introduce fear. It's about building a safety net around your child," as child safety expert and former Police Detective Kristi McVee explains ๐Ÿ™Œ https://www.tiktok.com//video/7654868677569056021

National Child Protection Week

At Life Ed SA, prevention is at the heart of what we do. Through evidence-based health and wellbeing education, we empower children and young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to navigate challenges, build respectful relationships, stay safe, and thrive.

Every day, our educators work with students, teachers and families to create positive conversations that can lead to meaningful change.

Because keeping children safe and well isn't just a one-week campaign. It's a shared responsibility that belongs to all of us.

This week, we encourage our community to reflect on what action they can take, big or small, to support children and young people in their lives.
