After serving a large number of people that came to the ADRA CONNECT community pantry and lunch, those that still had some energy left went to the forest to spend time in nature and in front of a bonfire. Some tried toasting marshmallows on the fire for the first time. We also had a chef from Nepal showing us how they cook at home followed by some Africans showing us how they pick up food from the fire with their bare hands. 11 different cultures getting together and having lots of fun, thanks everyone for coming. 

Tomorrow 27 June after the community lunch we will be going to Kuitpo forest, make sure you take warm clothes, a camping chair (if you have one), a drink and some marshmallows for the fire 🔥

Every Sunday a group of volunteers at ADRA CONNECT get together to pack, sort and deliver food to people in need across Adelaide.
