Hi everyone, it’s been 12 months since the last election and the last day I served you as the Federal Member for Petrie. It was a great honor to represent our region for 4 terms.

I’ve enjoyed spending time with my family and slowing down a little. I am now moving to a different challenge and I hope you can all be a part of it.

I have always had a passion for property, people, community service and an opportunity in real estate has presented itself.

Watching the Bondi Beach, Sydney day of reflection. Lovely touch to sing “Waltzing Matilda” in tribute to the youngest victim of last weeks Islamist terrorist attack, 10 year old girl Matilda.

Some very good speakers and whilst sad and angry about what happened last week, I am also hopeful that together we can ALL stand up for what is right and truthful to protect our freedoms, democracy and kindness.

2026 is an opportunity to speak up boldly for the country we love. Whilst leadership is lacking, don’t wait, be a positive change. 🇦🇺

A gun buy back scheme is a diversion and deflection from the Albanese Labor Governments failure to protect Jewish Australians. Last Sunday 15 people were murdered in an Islamic antisemitic terrorist attack at Bondi Beach, Sydney.

I witnessed in the last Parliament Anthony Albanese being warned weekly about his failure to deal wth antisemitism and call out the hatred being directed towards Jewish Australians. Hatred that was on display at the Sydney Opera House the day after the October 7 terrorist attack in Israel. Hatred from the two NSW nurses who said “they would kill Jews” who came to their hospital. Hatred when Victorian synagoues were burnt to the ground and hatred on display during “Free Palestine” marches.

Former Prime Minister John Howard did gun reform and Australia already has the toughest laws in the world. Licensed sporting shooters, hunters and farmers shouldn’t be a scapegoat for the Albanese Governments failures.

I could see antisemitism building in Australia with the disgraceful behaviour at the Sydney Opera House, all the “free Palestine marches”, recognising a non existent Palestinian-state and weak Leadership wanting to have a foot in both camps. The Prime Minister, his Ministers and the Greens political Party did nothing in fact they embraced the protesters and this is the result Israeli Jewish Australians murdered on a Sydney beachside.

Well said Cameron Milner former Labor Party Chief of Staff and Qld Secretary. Anthony Albanese often lies to Australians. I’ve witnessed this first hand. Australians deserve better.

What an extraordinary opinion piece in today’s West Australian by Bill Shorten’s former Chief of Staff and Labor Party State Secretary.

When a senior Labor Party insider is now referring to it as a coverup requiring an open and independent inquiry, it is past time for one. As Mr Milner observes, if they have nothing to hide, they have nothing to fear.

I can’t but help wonder if it an Albanistas' Watergate moment or a Gallaghergate moment?
