MEOW rescue is a NOT for profit organisation which rescues Cats and Kittens within the Melbourne area. We have grown from one person into a rescue group.
We are a kitten and cat rescue group run by volunteers.

All rescue cats are cared for by our team of foster carers in their own homes so come socialised and in most cases have had interaction with other cats and dogs. All kittens and cats have been vet checked, wormed, treated for fleas, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and are looking for their purrfect home.
We work with the community, shelters/pounds and other rescue groups to make change in the lives of so many unwanted animals. We run a last litter program whereby people surrender their litter of kittens to us and we desex the Mother cat for free, thus stopping the cycle of unwanted litters. We are also happy to discuss any issues relating to your cats/kittens and try to help keep these cats and kittens out of pounds. Meet Saturn & Jupiter!✨
These two gorgeous boys have recently joined their foster family through our Last Litter Program, and they have already stolen their foster family's hearts.
At around 6 months old, Saturn and Jupiter are the sweetest, most social little boys. They are smoochy, affectionate and absolutely love being around their people. ❤️
They've settled into foster care beautifully already and are proving to be the kind of kittens who want to be right in the middle of whatever you're doing, preferably receiving cuddles and giving you plenty of smooches along the way.
They're still getting everything they need before they're officially ready to find their forever family, but we couldn't resist giving you a little sneak peek...
Keep an eye on our page because these two handsome boys will be ready for adoption soon!

Willow is a gorgeous, affectionate girl with a BIG personality and so much love to give. 💕
Willow was found in a backyard with her brother Ben before being surrendered to Dandenong Vet Hospital and coming into the care of MEOW Rescue.
From day one, Willow has been a little cuddle bug. Give her some pats and her purr motor starts straight away! 🥰
She is also incredibly playful. Her absolute favourite toy is a little metal yo-yo that she chases around like a mouse — and when she catches it, she gives the cutest little growl to let everyone know it’s hers! 😂🐭

💜 A little something special about Willow
During Willow’s desexing surgery, it was discovered that she was born with only one kidney (her right kidney).
Willow is otherwise healthy, active and living life just like any other young cat. Having one kidney does not currently slow her down at all!
Her future family will simply need to commit to annual veterinary check-ups and urine testing to monitor her kidney health. Her medical information will be provided to her adopter.
Because Willow has one kidney, she must remain strictly indoors or have access to a secure catio to help keep her safe.

Nova was found with her kittens in tow, doing everything she could to care for her little family. Now her kittens are raised, her vet work is complete and it’s finally Nova’s turn. 🥹💜
