Cold weather, amazing schools, fun activities, shopping, and making long lasting friendships through networking. That is what the college road trip 2026 was about. Giving students a full experience on life abroad and in school. Students enjoyed the tours of the schools and some even found their future school. Scholarships were presented from numerous colleges.

Super proud of these young ladies. They decided they wanted to cheer for the schools basketball team in the island’s basketball jamboree. Way to show good sportsmanship.

This week was all about health. Mental and physical health is important. Jasmine smith lead our students in a virtual meeting via zoom and educated them on the topic mental health teenage depression. We utilized stress reduced strategies and learned that we are never alone if we feel any of those symptoms. Next, we got up and moved to the beat with a 30 minute Zumba workout to touch on health and wellness. Thank you Jasmine and Mr. Dairon for a fun impactful session.

A time to fellowship: As we embark on YEP MONTH and mentors appreciation week we came together in fellowship at Zion Baptist Church.
