April is quickly approaching, and so is Autism Awareness Month, a time to learn, understand, and support individuals on the autism spectrum.

Autism is often represented by different colors that each carry a meaning. Blue has traditionally been linked to awareness and represents calmness, reliability, and hope. Gold is used as a symbol of acceptance and advocacy, inspired by the chemical symbol Au, reminding us that autistic individuals are valuable and unique. The rainbow represents the diversity of the autism spectrum and celebrates neurodiversity, showing that every mind experiences the world differently.

Awareness is about more than recognizing autism—it’s about understanding, kindness, and creating spaces where everyone can thrive.
