Strengthening Our QA Team Through Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration

At DTB, we value opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and share knowledge across teams.
From 9th to 22nd August 2026, we were pleased to welcome Ms. Khaing and Ms. Nilar, two senior
QAs from our partner company in Myanmar, for a Knowledge Sharing Training Program.
During their visit, they shared practical knowledge, industry experience, and valuable insights with our
QA Team. Established seven months ago and led by Reshma, the Bhutanese team has now grown to
seven QA Engineers.
We sincerely thank Ms. Khaing and Ms. Nilar for their time, expertise, and support. Their contribution has been valuable to the continued growth of our QA Team.

We look forward to more opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together.

Today marks the last day of a 2-month QA internship for Rohan, Sujal, and Thinley at DTB.

Their internship wasn’t about simply observing how QA works. From the start, they were part of real product workflows: testing ComponentOne installers, reproducing and verifying issues, documenting findings, and collaborating with QA and development teams across locations.

Over the past two months, they’ve had the opportunity to contribute to a product used by developers worldwide while experiencing what production QA looks like in practice.

As part of our company team activities aimed at strengthening team bonds, taking a break from our busy routines, and creating memorable experiences together, DTB organized a two-day Bumdra Glamping Hike from 1–2 August.

Starting from Sang Choekor Monastery, our team embarked on a scenic hike through the beautiful landscapes of Paro, with an overnight stay at Bumdra Glamping. The experience was made even more enjoyable and hassle-free as everything—from comfortable tents to delicious meals—was thoughtfully arranged by the Bumdra Glamping team.

After spending the night surrounded by nature, we continued our hike the following day, eventually making our way down towards the Taktsang Monastery base. We wrapped up the adventure with a well-deserved lunch at Jhol Momo in Paro Town, sharing stories, laughter, and memories from the journey.

Beyond the hike, it was a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of Bhutan together.

Today, 3 August, DTB is delighted to welcome three new Junior Software Developers to the team.
To celebrate their arrival, we hosted a delicious traditional Lhotsham thali lunch at Deepa Restaurant. We are excited to have them on board and look forward to their contributions as they begin this new journey with us.

A change of scenery often brings a welcome shift in perspective. Stepping away from the office this May allowed us to view our daily responsibilities through a completely new lens. Our DTB team gathered to reconnect, learn, and discuss the deeper meaning behind the software we build. We had the rare privilege of learning from international professionals who experienced the birth of modern programming first hand.

From exploring the concept of job crafting to enjoying a beautiful hike to Taktsang Monastery, the retreat was an exceptional blend of professional growth and quiet reflection. It served as a profound reminder that building lasting products takes lifelong curiosity and a deep appreciation for the craft. We returned with fresh perspectives and a stronger connection to how we work together.
