I think many of us become so excited by the idea of marriage that we overlook one of its most important qualities: a caring partner. Beyond the looks, the title, and the romance, ask yourself one simple question: Do they genuinely care?
Before saying "I do," ask yourself whether this is the person who will remain by your side when life gets difficult. When age, illness, or hardship make you vulnerable, will they meet you with patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment?
The answer is often clear long before the wedding day. It reveals itself in everyday acts of kindness, in the ways they support you, and in how consistently they show up when there is nothing to gain.
A caring partner is everything. Choose someone who not only loves you, but genuinely enjoys caring for you. Someone who sees your well-being as their priority and your burdens as theirs to help carry.
Today, I am especially grateful for mine. Thank you for being my chef, my nurse, my physiotherapist, my prayer partner, and my constant source of strength in this difficult period.❤️

I don’t think we have enough conversations about fibroids, yet the rate at which more and more women are affected is heartbreaking.
Yesterday, I underwent a myomectomy (fibroid removal surgery). I had been diagnosed with fibroids years ago, but I never fully appreciated how serious they could become until the symptoms worsened over time, leading to complications such as anemia and others.
Women go through a lot, and the number of surgeries scheduled yesterday was a stark reminder of that reality. What saddened me even more was hearing another patient share how she was constantly mocked for her growing tummy and repeatedly asked if she was pregnant, when in fact she was battling fibroids. In my own case, I had to stop going to the gym because the pain after workouts became unbearable.
Ladies, let us be kinder to one another. We understand better than anyone the challenges women face. We know that comments about someone’s weight, fertility, or appearance can be deeply hurtful, yet too often we use these very things to tear each other down.
Not every battle is visible. Some struggles are deeply personal. Let us choose compassion over judgment and grace over assumptions. A big thank you to the Sidilega team for their amazing service. Highly recommended!🙏

Home is where we find peace, comfort, and a sense of belonging. It grounds us, reminds us of who we are, and offers refuge when the world feels uncertain. Yet home should never become the boundary of our experience.
One of the most transformative decisions a person can make is to step beyond the familiarity of their hometown. Take the opportunity to explore new places, engage with different cultures, and build relationships with people whose lives and perspectives differ from your own. It is through these experiences that we develop empathy, broaden our worldview, and learn to appreciate the richness of human diversity.
Over the years, I have observed that those who never venture beyond their familiar environment can sometimes struggle to embrace the growth of others. When someone leaves, evolves, and returns with new perspectives, they are often viewed differently. What should be celebrated can instead become a source of resentment. The issue is rarely the person who has grown; rather, it is the discomfort that growth can create in those who have remained unchanged.
People who have known you for years may continue to judge you through the lens of who you once were, not who you have become. Your progress challenges their assumptions, and sometimes even their own unrealized aspirations. In those moments, you begin to understand how insecurity can manifest as criticism, resistance, or bitterness.
The truth is that growth requires movement. Not everyone needs to leave forever, but everyone should experience life beyond the limits of what is familiar. Whether it is for a month, a year, or several years, stepping away has a remarkable way of expanding the mind and deepening one’s understanding of the world.
Home will always be there. But the version of yourself waiting to be discovered often lies somewhere beyond it.

Look at how far you have come dear friend. You have made it halfway through the year, and that is no small achievement. Through victories and setbacks, moments of confidence and moments of doubt, you have continued to move forward. That persistence deserves recognition.
As we step into the second half of the year, remember that the journey ahead will not be without challenges. There will be storms that test your resilience, losses that challenge your perspective, disappointments that shake your confidence, and moments of pain that make the road seem longer than it is. Yet the true measure of progress is not the absence of adversity, but the ability to rise each time life knocks you down.
The first six months have shaped you. The next six months can define you.
Happy June.

It’s crazy to imagine where we would be without Google Maps, hey. Someone once said we could learn a lot from it, and honestly, they were right.
Not just about directions or places, but about how it always recalculates. No insults, no scolding, no yelling. It doesn’t make you feel like the journey is ruined just because you missed a turn. It simply recalculates calmly and keeps guiding you forward.
That’s how we should treat ourselves in life. We will make mistakes. We will miss turns. But we can always recalculate, start again, and keep moving.
There’s no need to be so hard on yourself or believe it’s all over because things did not go as planned. Sometimes the wrong turn protects you from the wrong destination. Sometimes getting completely lost is what leads you to where you were always meant to be.
You are not a failure. You are simply recalculating.
And you are still on your way.

Life is a strange thing. You arrive with nothing, spend your whole life chasing everything, and still leave with nothing .
Friends, make sure to collect wisdom more than possessions. Feed your spirit more than your ego. Protect your peace more than your image. A rich hand means nothing if the soul attached to it is empty.
Happy New week!!!

On Pentecost, we are reminded that God does not wait for us to become perfect before He uses us.
The disciples in Gospel of John were afraid and hiding behind locked doors, yet Jesus came to them with peace and filled them with the Holy Spirit. Then fear became courage.Sometimes the greatest obstacle is not the world around us, but the locked doors within us, fear, doubt, pride, or discouragement.
The Holy Spirit still comes to bring peace, wisdom, courage, and new beginnings.
Come Holy Spirit!🙏
