Stitchera

Today’s setup: Kleenex, a drink, NyQuil, and a sewing tutorial on the TV. 🤧🧵 I’m taking it easy, but I couldn’t resist learning a new sewing technique while I rest. I’ve been wanting to try this one for a while, so I’m watching closely and taking mental notes. Some days, working on Stitchera means making things with my hands. Today, it means giving myself time to get better. Once I’m feeling well again, I can’t wait to sit down at my machine and try it for myself. For now, I’m resting, watching, and getting inspired by what I might make next. 💜

I remember back as a kid, reading the local newspaper and some birthday announcements would say things like “Lordy, Lordy, look who’s 40” or something like ”50’s Nifty” and I’d think those were words or saying I would use when I get to those ages. Well here I am as a “Nifty 50” year old and can honestly say, I will probably never again use the word “nifty”.😜 Cheers to 50 and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful birthday wishes. 🤍
