Catching waves in glass! 🌊 This custom piece features stunning Oceanside Glass baroque and a real shell found by our client. There's something so special about integrating natural objects into stained glass. Have you ever tried it?
This is the second half of a matching pair, and we loved every minute of building it. Thanks for trusting us with such a fun project! 🐚💙

Shawn crated 12 windows after completing extensive repairs. Originally crafted in 1986 by B. Malickson - these beautiful mouth-blown glass windows were damaged when they were removed from the old Canmore Visitor Centre. We're looking forward to seeing them in their new home eventually.
Sarah is completing work on 12 windows from the St. Joseph's Parish in Calgary. Here Christine is helping her cement the lead in place. The whiting helps set the putty.
Shawn and Crosby removed three windows from the Scarboro United Church Calgary Church. The studio will be restoring and repairing these beautiful painted windows that have begun to sag and break in places.
Repairs! Christine is working on a cabinet door here, replacing one piece of broken glass for a customer's home.
David began work on this amazing wild rose inspired circular window for St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Gleichan, a beautiful historic wood-frame building. This new window pays homage to the original window while adding a bit of a modern flare with sharp angles and multiple sizes of lead and zinc came.
We can't wait to see this completed!
Our shop dog Naya is getting used to being in the studio, but she's still a bit shy! She loves hanging out (but please don't reach for her behind the gate).

Meet our latest commission - Spirit Island! Swipe for a peek into the studio and the copper foil process! Crafted using some of our favourite Oceanside Glass for the sky and sparkling water to honour Canada's beautiful topography. We love how this piece turned out!
The first photo shows the final piece hung in its new home - it was finished with a zinc frame and black patina.

Have you tried Guy Mongo Somers foil yet? It's 1.25mm thick and, similar to our dearly departed 3M Venture Tape, and it packs a good stick. It's quickly becoming the favourite for our shop work.
