We had a wonderful time playing at Gravity Calgary last night!! These pics were taken before most people arrived. Took a little phone footage, will see what may be shared!
Happy (belated) Birthday to our intrepid guitarist, the most studious, talented, and hard-working gypsy jazz shredder the other half of this musical duo has known! I feel so lucky to play with this talented powerhouse and grateful to learn from him-- not through bass teaching (he teaches guitar and uke), but in bits of theory knowledge, humanity, really in so many ways.
Whole-hearted thanks to everyone who came, enjoyed music, supported the musicians and the venue through your enthusiasm, cover, and purchases, and the always-awesome staff of Gravity. Thanks Andy Fennell, the man who pulls it all together with the gravitational force of his brilliance.

Craig Edwin Galambos and I have been catching the Gravity Calgary Inglewood jazz jams, thoroughly enjoying the other players and sharing some tunes. Such a wonderful atmosphere!
We can't wait to play there tomorrow eve!!
