The City of Calgary engagement opportunity. The City is preparing to launch public engagement for the 144 Avenue North Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Functional Planning Study – East Leg.

The study will help guide future transit improvements in north Calgary and explore opportunities to improve connections between communities, major destinations, future transit terminals, and LRT services. The proposed East Leg would extend the planning work completed through the West Leg study and support a continuous east-west transit corridor across north Calgary.

Residents will be able to:
• Review the proposed concept plan
• Learn how previous feedback informed recommendations
• Provide feedback on station locations, transit connections, and walking and wheeling improvements
• Help refine the final plan before it is completed

Cleaning up shouldn’t feel like a burden or a job - it’s simply the responsible thing we all do as part of living in a community. A few careless moments can make our shared spaces look messy, but a little effort from each of us goes a long way.

We all pay the city for recycling, and most of us have blue bins right at home. If you spot litter or recyclables around, just drop them into any nearby blue bin - nobody’s going to complain.

· Foam packaging like cushion blocks, meat trays, and egg cartons
· Tubes like lotion tubes, deodorant and toothpaste
· Food and body aerosols like cooking spray, hair spray and sunscreen
