❄️ Alright crews we have been lucky so for this winter but we have another cold spell coming remember cold starts kill equipment.
If you’re firing machines up and sending them straight to work, you’re asking for seals, pumps, and valves to fail.

Proper cold-weather warm-up checklist:

• Let engine idle until coolant begins to rise
• Cycle hydraulics slowly — boom, steer, aux circuits
• Avoid full throttle until hydraulic oil temp increases
• Watch pressure spikes & listen for cavitation
• Give transmissions time to build temperature
• Grease points more frequently in extreme cold

Cold oil = thick oil = high pressure = broken parts.
