30 years 💕✨

After lots of thought, feedback, and reflection, I decided it’s time.

While I started this journey with a passion for canning and preserving along side my natural bath and home products, I’ve decided to take a break in that front and just focus solely on bath, body, & home for awhile. With that, comes a new logo, one that sits with the heart of JRH, my grandmother Jennie and daughter Riley.
I get asked a lot why “Jennie Riley” when my name is Madisen, and honestly, it’s because I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for these two incredible people. Without their love, support, and influence, I would not be the woman and mother I am today.

So here’s to them. Here’s to the grandmothers, mothers, daughters, best friends, sisters, and everything in between. The women that make us who we are, pick us up when we’re down, and teach us to love ourselves in ways we never would have thought possible.

We’re set up at the Devon Community Centre and it’s my BIRTHDAY (okay, well Wednesday is my birthday but close enough).

I turn the big 3-0 in less than a week so we’re doing two large bath soaks, regular $18 each, for $30!!! We’re also doing $30 in giveaways between now and then. If you purchase something today, any amount, you get a mystery giveaway with the code word “SIMBA”!

Well ALOE-there Govna!

Aloe truly is one of the “cures-all” of the world. From burns to inflammation to hydration to wrinkles, it truly does it all. This Aloe plant is almost as old as I am (which in the idea of the universe isn’t that old, but for plants, it’s a straight senior citizen), and it has healed many ailments from my days in culinary school to now, where I use it in making my hand sanitizer, aloe tallow balm, and even bug spray. While this specific plant hasn’t been with me for all my years, aloe has. So when I say “it’s aloe from my garden”, I really mean it.
