Inviting Interiors

Ruining your kitchen design is easy...
Just pick the wrong paint color!
Steps I would take to NOT RUIN my kitchen design with the wrong paint colors.
1- Decide if my kitchen will lean to warm or a cool tone.
2- Take into consideration the lighting.
3- Pull a tone out of the counter.
4- Match the wallpaper background.
5- Try to enhance the flooring.
How would you decide the paint color for your kitchen?
Don't give your kitchen a shock of paint color that doesn't belong.

These are some colors I would pick if I had a red/brown roof.

Seen here is Benjamin Moore Alexandria Beige with Brush Blue and Milkshake trims.
The secret is not to fight the roof color. Choose colors that blend. You'll be surprised how good everything looks in the end.

Who else remembers this color combination?
Harvest Gold
Avocado
and Rust?

I'll start:
We had an Avocado Fridge and Stove...🤣
I'll throw in another. S**g carpets.
Now called a 'high pile'.

The warm tones keep on coming...
Endless rug finds that will work with any color floor.
This rug will pull a multitude of colors. Cherry, grey, taupe, burnt orange, denim blue, linen.

How I would create a warm space if I had grey floors and a North facing window. 🪟

Choose a mixture of cool and warm in your fabrics and rugs. Warm paint color on the walls always tend to warm things up. Choose a paint color that will compliment your floor instead of fighting with it. Accent with a main color with toss cushions etc... The accent color on the mood board is the blue.

Peaceful bedroom looks I'd recommend for a busy mom...

I'm for voting that we complete our bedroom before all other rooms in the house.
When the rest of the house is not quite at its best we can enter our space knowing it's just as we like it... peaceful.
We can tackle the rest tomorrow.

This collection is Boho inspired. It's youthful, fun and just because it's calming doesn't mean we've sacrificed on style.
