The Ribbon Rouge Foundation serves African, Caribbean and Black people in Alberta, by facilitating systems change, in structural and social factors that lead to poorer health outcomes, including HIV related health outcomes in African, Caribbean, Black communities. While supporting local emerging talents in the arts, fashion and music, we wield the intrinsic power of the arts to change perceptions, stir social conscience, educate the public and create positive change globally. We achieve this by holding events that support local Edmonton talent in fine arts, music, and fashion. MANDATE

This is an opportunity for African, Caribbean, and Black artists, whether emerging or established, to strengthen their grant writing skills, better understand the funding process, and feel more confident when applying for opportunities.

Everyone deserves access to accurate information, culturally safe and appropriate care, inclusive health services, and the resources to make informed choices about their health.
At Ribbon Rouge Foundation, sexual health is at the core of what we do. ❤️
Advancing health equity means making sure African, Caribbean and Black communities have access to the information, support, and services they deserve, without stigma, shame, or discrimination.
