VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: MAKING MAMMOTH TRACKS Making Mammoth Tracks
Making Mammoth Tracks Mobile Craft Studio creates whimsical, nature-inspired art using real botanicals and hand-gathered materials from across western Canada. Handmade while living and travelling in an RV, each piece celebrates the beauty of the natural world and the unique landscapes it comes from.
Artist and maker behind the studio, Christie, designs and creates every item in small batches—transforming oyster shells, flowers, and plants into one-of-a-kind art pieces such as decorative dishes, ornaments, magnets, keychains, and framed botanical works. She also builds and adorns her own wooden flower presses, inspiring others to explore, slow down, and preserve their own plant discoveries.
With a 20-year background in science and a deep love of plants, her work blends art and observation - whether she is painting shells, pressing wildflowers, or building flower presses from scratch, every piece she makes carries a sense of place and a story of where it came from.
