For Dow Alberta expansion, Hi Signs helped bring it all together through environmental graphics, wayfinding, safety and site signage, all while reflecting Dow’s history and identity in Alberta.
This wasn’t our typical project.
Our primary focus is on large complex projects, architectural designs, and wayfinding systems for municipalities, airports, hospitals, campuses, and more.
But, when Yeg Dream Tarts posted about the issues with the illumination on the front of their building, we jumped at the opportunity to help out.
We had all the right tools, and a strong understanding for the care, quality, and impact something like this can have on a small business.
We knew we could help, so we made it happen.
We removed the sign, brought it to the shop, removed all the old LEDs, and replaced them with a higher quality, long lasting bulb.
In less than 24 hours, it was back up shining bright, and good as new.
They were extremely grateful having us come to the rescue, and as always we are more than happy to help! (especially when they bring us such amazing treats as payment 😋)

A landmark designed to feel unmistakably Killam. 🌾✨
Inspired by agriculture, community and the amenities that bring the town together, this custom sign incorporates the Town of Killam “K” into a stylized aerial view of local crop fields.
Dimensional materials create depth during the day, while face-lit letters, illuminated textures and halo lighting completely transform it after dark.
