Ancient Roots Studio is the home art studio of artist Janice Brun, where a love of texture, color, vintage treasures, natural materials, fibers, beads, and found objects come together to create one-of-a-kind art. From Mixed Media Art and Reflecting Journals to Wearable Art, fiber creations, and whimsical treasures, each piece is created with imagination, intention, and a love of the unexpected. Our work has evolved from the original Ancient Roots journey, which began with sound, vibration, and a physical shop filled with New Age and spiritual treasures. Today, Ancient Roots Studio has returned to its roots in a different way — as a creative home studio where art, nature, vintage inspiration, and personal expression meet. Also part of the studio is the Little River Collection, a whimsical collection of handcrafted wood creations by Dave Brun — playful characters, garden friends, and unique pieces made to bring a little personality and joy into everyday spaces. No two pieces are alike — much like the people who are drawn to them.
