Saving lost souls from the edge of euthanasia and guiding them into forever homes
A little adventure for Walter!
Today, our sweet boy got to explore the Guelph Arboretum, take in all the new smells, wander the trails, and simply enjoy being a dog.
Walter is one of our sanctuary dogs, meaning he’ll have a forever home with HADES. His journey may look a little different from the dogs we hope to rehome, but that doesn’t mean he deserves any less adventure, enrichment, love, or happiness.
For a dog who has had a complicated journey, these quiet moments of joy mean everything.
One adventure at a time. 🐾🖤

Shadow would like to wish everyone a happy Monday! 🐾☀️💙
These are the moments that make it all worth it. 🖤
The silly games, the happy faces, and watching these dogs feel safe enough to just be dogs again. 🐺🐾

🖤 We had such an amazing time at the Midsummer Witches Market in Guelph yesterday! It was wonderful meeting so many talented local artisans and makers while networking for HADES Rescue.
One of our favourite finds was this absolutely stunning Hades candle from Wanderer's Candles. As soon as we saw it, we knew we had to bring it home! Between the gorgeous design, the Cerberus charm, and the name itself, it felt like it was made for us. 🕯️🐺
It also sparked a wonderful conversation about HADES Rescue and the work we do for huskies in need, and we’re so excited to have connected with another passionate local small business.
We’re always looking to partner with amazing local businesses that want to make a difference for rescue dogs, and we have a feeling this is just the beginning. 🐺🖤
If you love handcrafted candles with a magical, mythological vibe, definitely go check them out! Thank you again for such a wonderful conversation—we can’t wait to work together! 🖤✨
