Eastern College

Today, our Fredericton and Saint John campus communities marked the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Fredericton Campus held its September Coffee Break; it was a time to meet to recognize National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and an opportunity to honour the children who never returned home, the survivors of the residential schools, and their families and communities.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to honour the children who never came home from residential schools, the Survivors who carry their memory, and the families and communities still healing.

At Eastern College, we recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing process, not a single day. We encourage our students, staff, and community to wear orange, listen to Survivor stories, and take time to learn about the history and impact of the residential school system in Canada.

A new chapter worth celebrating. 💚
