I had no idea how to start an online business.
I just knew I wanted a different way to earn income.
I didn’t want to be a pushy salesperson, bug my family and friends, host parties, create products, or store inventory.
I found a legitimate Canadian-based platform with a global reach.
I didn’t have to start from scratch.
I just had to plug in.
The products were already there.
The website and systems were already set up.
Orders and shipping were handled.
All I had to do was learn how to market online and follow the blueprint.
I didn’t need experience. I just needed to be willing to learn.

Three years ago, we moved back to Canada from Barbados.
And one question I get asked all the time is…
“Why?”
Why would you leave Barbados to live in Canada?
My answer has always been simple: my children.
I wanted to give them opportunities for their future that I felt were worth taking a chance on.
The truth is, I didn’t have a plan.
(That’s a story I’ll share another time.)
But we did it anyway.
We took the leap, trusted that things would work out, and somehow… they have.
It hasn’t always been easy. But we’ve done it together. And through all of it, we’ve grown stronger.
My kids are growing, thriving, and becoming their own people, and I couldn’t be prouder of them.
And somewhere along the way, I’ve grown too.
I’ve changed. I’ve learned. I’ve become stronger and more confident in myself.
I have absolutely no regrets.
Well… maybe one.
I wish I had done it sooner.
Because sometimes you just have to take the leap before you know exactly where you’re going to land.
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
And I’m so glad we jumped. ❤️
98 days. Just under 100.
That’s it.
You can spend the next 98 days telling yourself you’ll start when things slow down, when you have more time, or when the timing feels right…
OR you can decide that these next 98 days are going to look different.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to be willing to learn, take action, and stay consistent.
That’s exactly what I’m doing with my online business — learning a proven system, building something of my own, and creating more flexibility around the life I actually want.
There is still time to make a different decision.
Lock in. Get focused. Finish 2026 differently.

Nobody talks about how scary it is when you realize…
You don’t want another job.
You want another option.
Not because you don’t want to work.
Not because you expect something to happen overnight.
You just start wanting more control over your time.
More flexibility.
More freedom to actually be present for the people and moments that matter.
That’s what made me start looking at building something of my own.
I didn’t have all the answers. I didn’t have a background in online business. I just knew I didn’t want to keep doing things the same way and hoping something would change.
So I decided to learn something new, follow a proven system, and see where it could take me.
And honestly… sometimes the scariest part isn’t starting.
It’s realizing you’re ready for something different. ❤️

Chicken soup for the win!
We made it to the third week of school before the sniffles hit.
My son asked for chicken soup, so naturally… chicken soup it is! 😂
With dumplings, because apparently that’s non-negotiable.
Two bowls later, and fingers crossed he’s back to school tomorrow. 🤞
