Divest Thompson Rivers University

Divestment is the opposite of an investment – it simply means getting rid of stocks, bonds, or investment funds that are unethical or morally ambiguous. Fossil fuel investments are a risk for both investors and the planet – we’re calling on TRU to divest from these companies and to preserve both the integrity of our university and the health of our local environment. Talk with one of our volunteers and sign the petition telling TRU that we as students, faculty and community members reject its relationship with the fossil fuel industry.
