We help businesses modernize and adopt the right tech so they can innovate and grow. 🚀
The safest innovation strategy isn’t one big bet. It’s many small, measurable ones.
“Fail fast” only works when teams know what they’re testing, how they’ll measure the outcome and what evidence will tell them whether to continue or stop.
That discipline matters.
Without it, innovation becomes a constant brainstorm: plenty of ideas, little action and growing fatigue across the organization.
A strong experimentation process creates a different signal: ideas are welcome, learning is expected and evidence decides what moves forward.
Watch the conversation for more on how small bets can help organizations de-risk innovation and turn promising ideas into meaningful action.

A promising AI tool can still fail in a promising organization. They often do.
The reasons for failed adoption of any technology are well understood. The problem to be solved may be unclear. Workflows may not be understood. People may not have the support to change how they work. Data may not be clean and available. Ownership and structure for pilots may be lacking.
Differly treats AI adoption as an organizational system. Business, people and technology are intertwined. Strategy determines the direction. Tools, data and governance provide the foundations for progress. Change and adoption support allows that progress to materialize as impact. If one strand moves without the others, progress stalls.

Most teams we work with begin their AI journey with writing - touching up emails and drafting documents. That's a useful start, but there is so much more value to gain with the same tools people already have access to.
Differly's Fundamental Five simplifies the question of "how else can we work with AI?" into five practical approaches: Planning, Problem-Solving, Finding, Creating, and Converting.
At most organizations we start working with, about 70% of staff are only using one or two of these. Building productive AI use across all five areas helps teams get more from the tools they already have.
Using AI for writing might save you some time. Using AI for difficult problem-solving, planning, or creative tasks might speed up processes by weeks or unlock new capabilities that weren't previously possible.
Complex automations or custom solutions can and often should wait. Much of the power of AI is already at your team's fingertips.

The pressure to “do more with AI” can make adoption feel like a race.
It is more useful to see it as measured progression along a predictable path. Organizations do not typically jump from a few experiments into complex automations with AI securely connected to their data. Each stage in the journey builds upon the last one and requires a certain mix of skills, guardrails, data, support systems and capacity for change.
The next right move is the one your organization can support and learn from. Differly’s AI Adoption Roadmap helps leaders identify where they are on the pathway and what needs to be in place for the next steps.

Ideas are only the beginning. Innovation requires discipline across the full cycle: from framing the opportunity and testing its value to scaling what works and governing the portfolio behind it.
Missing one of these stages can result in promising ideas stalling in pilot purgatory or becoming Innovation Theatre. Plenty of activity, very little meaningful change.
Organizations that innovate consistently do not rely on inspiration alone. They build the structures, decision-making and financial discipline that help good ideas survive.

Good strategy is about creating enough clarity to make deliberate choices, even when the full picture is still emerging.
At Differly, four questions help leadership teams move strategy from intention to action:
• What’s known? What do the data, customer insights and current capabilities tell us?
• What’s unknown? Which assumptions, risks and unanswered questions could affect the strategy?
• What won’t change? Which customer needs, organizational priorities and strategic guardrails should continue to guide decisions?
• What’s next? What must happen now? Who owns it? How will it turn direction into meaningful progress?
A strategy should help an organization navigate uncertainty, make better choices, and adapt without losing sight of where it is going.
Launching a new CRM isn't the finish line of a tech implementation. Understanding your needs, selecting a platform, and working through months of implementation work are like training for a competition. Hard behind-the-scenes work preparing for the main event. Then you have to run the race.
After go-live, teams need to be ready for the work of adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement. Technology is the tool. The outcome is a result of how well you use it.
Here's a clip from a great conversation between Isabelle Perreault and JF Ch*****ne on why successful technology projects focus on people, process, and purpose, not just implementation.
JF has more than 16 years leading Canadian trade associations through governance redesign, membership transitions, and the early integration of AI. He also brings the volunteer perspective as past-chair of Canadian Society of Association Executives.

Most technology vendor decisions start backwards, with a demo showing the buyer what might be possible.
By the time you're comparing platforms, the harder work should already be done. You should know why you need a new solution, which outcomes matter most, and where the new solution fits in the overall picture of what you already have.
Swipe through the four steps we walk clients through before vendor demos.
The tool is rarely the hard part. Getting clear on the problem is.

Differly conducted an AI Fundamentals Workshop with the leadership team at Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC) this week.
A strong session with a highly engaged group that was already well advanced in their AI knowledge and adoption journey.
Highlights:
• Demystified key AI concepts and common misconceptions
• Introduced Differly’s Fundamental Five framework for practical business impact
• Explored live demos, including AI-generated dashboards and branded presentations
• Discussed AI security fundamentals, governance, and risk considerations
• Built hands-on skills through our Prompt Throwdown exercise
A big thank you to the team behind the experience:
• Rekha Sharma for providing hype-free, non-technical AI background information, expert technology adoption advice, and practical wisdom
• Ian Clark and Patrice Belmonte for developing and facilitating live demonstrations and hands-on practice while offering practical experience with AI use cases
• Dan Guenther for working with the leadership team at CAGBC, ensuring the workshop was tailored to meet the needs of participants
Thank you to CAGBC for the thoughtful discussions, challenging questions, and willingness to explore what practical AI adoption looks like in action!

The Differly team came together for our summer gathering at Isabelle's place: a chance to reconnect, catch up, share stories, and spend time together outside of our usual day-to-day work.
As a remote-first team, these moments matter. They strengthen relationships, spark new ideas, and remind us that behind every project, workshop, and client engagement is a group of people who genuinely enjoy working together in support of our amazing clients.
Looking forward to what we'll build together in the months ahead.
