OGCryptor

Now recruiting for ROUGHNECKS, a PS5 Dune Awakening Guild for adults 25+.

Faction: House Atreides
Server: Anirul
Sietch: Nadul (any is good, as long as you are n the right server)
Playstyle: PvE
Platform: PS5
Community: Adults 25+

My name in-game = OGCryptor

I was talking to someone about how I’m 52 and I’ve tried everything to be happy and nothing worked. I went on for an hour.

He listened quietly and then said one sentence that hit harder than anything I’ve heard in years:

“You’re doing a great job convincing yourself that you’re not happy.”

It stopped me cold. Because he was right.

That’s all I’ve got. I’m still sitting with it.

The chronically online outrage machine failed to get traction with the physical‑media panic, so now they’re trying to cancel Wolverine, cancelling studios over “AI use.” It’s the same performative cycle every time - people desperate to be mad at something, anything. Some of us just want to play games.

Blizzard announcing a new StarCraft before development even starts - with a release date half a decade out - isn’t hype, it’s desperation. A cinematic and a 2030 window for a game that doesn’t exist yet? That’s not confidence. That’s damage control.

Dune Awakening Pre‑Load on PS5 Starts Tomorrow

Pre‑loads hit Sept 15, and servers go live at 5:00 AM PST on Sept 17 for Deluxe & Ultimate players. I’m taking time off and will be there the second the servers open - not to rush, but to enjoy every drop of story, lore, and atmosphere Funcom built into Arrakis.

If you want to start this journey from minute one, join me on Anirul.
Let’s explore Arrakis together from the very first sunrise.

For Atreides. For Arrakis. For OG Crew.

📣 OG Crew is officially on ANIRUL (West Coast)

We’re planting our banner on ANIRUL, the shard named for a Bene Gesserit of Hidden Rank - a quiet force behind imperial history. Perfect fit for an adult, Atreides‑aligned PvE guild built on discipline, honor, and calm progression.

If you want a mature, structured home on Arrakis, join us on ANIRUL.

The desert remembers.

The public secret everyone in the industry already knows: Kojima, much like Bungie, is a money black hole. His projects always miss deadlines, always blow past budgets, and always come with a massive price tag - because he leverages his celebrity to get away with it.

People pretend it’s “creative genius,” but behind the curtain it’s the same pattern every time.

I’m taking September 16th, 17th, and 18th off work for the Dune Awakening PS5 launch. This community made it possible for me to pick up the Ultimate Edition, and I’m incredibly grateful.

We’ll hit the ground running the second the servers go live.
